70/366 Hand made texture stamps in polymer clay or wax or rubber


a - Materials

1. Polymer clay

1.  Sculpting tools for soft materials (can also use:needles, toothpicks, nails, etc)
2.  Sculpting tools for harder materials (chisels with gouge)
3. Rolling pin

c - Techniques

1. For polymer clay use round ball tools and just draw what you have in mind, be patient and clean the scraps with a soft brush often.
2. If you want to make a specific design from a  digital version, 
1. Print the design on a piece of paper and then copy it using a toner copier  
2. Place it face down on the polymer clay, 
3. Dab the back of the paper with a piece of cotton that was previously dampen in alcohol
4. Remove the paper
3. For drawing on wax, print the design and use carbon copy paper, same for rubber or wood.
4. For soft materials like clay, use also plants (dried or soft) and "sunk" them into the clay using the rolling pin, or place the plant on the table and roll the clay over it with the roller.

Wax sculpting - 24 of 366 creative days

  For the twenty forth day I have done some random wax sculpting for my own enjoyment.
  It came out as a weird flower theme on a rock( I didn't flatten the wax before doing the carving, I left it uneven as it was), as well pair of heads, not sure if they are noticeable enough.

   I used wax, obviously and a toothpick and a cutter.

 For twentieth day I have done few molds and their negatives for stamping and more insertion molds I plan doing in the future. I have done them using polymer clay Fimo effect transparent, cause I want to use them as color mixing example as well.

          1 -1x27(copper) + 1x22(raspberry)(I think, not sure, very short memory)
          2 -color 9 from Clay gun experiment
          3 -1x27(copper)+1x11(gold)
          4 - 5x70(sahara)+5x014(translucent)+5x003(or just add some black sand)+1x75(chocolate)
          5 -1x27(copper)+1x26(cherry)
          6 - 1x75(chocolate) - forgot to add it in the picture, is actually the background sheet
