Cane design from patterns - 50 of 366 creative days

50/366

  I celebrate the fifty day of 366 creative days by doing a floral cane design.
  For this I used pieces from 4 pattern templates and one of my palettes. My favorite is the second. I know that making this into a polymer clay cane is very very hard work, but I am ready!

  I have placed them on white and black background. As you  know, the white make the colors more vivid, and all the details contrast better so I think I will choose the white background floral canes designs. Also, all the petals and leafs will have gradients and a bit more details: dots, stripes, etc.

A lazy day for palettes - 42 of 366 creative days

42/366

   For the forty second day of 366 creative days I have been lazy with my palettes cause I did a lot more with others' palettes or my older ones. But a huge amount of patterns. I will link several.
The only palette I made:

   The birds pattern template was posted yesterday and in less than 24 hour made it into over 100 peoples hearts. Was very appreciated , over colored and successful. I also did 5 or 6 tries, you can check it in my patterns.

  For the twenty fifth day I have tried several things, not many succeeded so I only show you those that did.
 Several brownish metallic petals, very ruffled done by some experimenting with alcohol and fire.

  They will get something to focus on the middle, something contrasting and some reinforcement since they are very thin and polymer clay breaks fast.
  As material I used a polymer clay Skinner blend cane the 2/7 combo I never used as Ikat, with chocolate color in exterior and transparent orange in interior.
  As tools I used a mold I have done from a tree branch.

Clay cinnabar hallow bead - 21 of 366 creative days

 For twenty first day I have tried to make cinnabar beads, specially a hallow polymer clay bead. The color isn't how I imagined but I will work on it some more

a - Materials
          1 -Started with 6 parts of polymer clay fuchsia(fimo strawberry) and 1 part yellow and a pinch of black then added plenty of yellow and some tempera red color. I will come back and remake this recipe, the color ended like the red in 3/366, stripes of polymer clay, I guess the color I see as cinnabar should be an indian red but darker.

          1 - I made a was ball and placed a thick layer of polymer clay on top the modeled, added some textures and cut some, baked and than hand sculpted the cured polymer clay with a sharp thick cutter and drills. For the rest of the beads just use some flower molds and some more

Polymer clay flower shaped pendants - 12 of 366 creative days

For the twelve day of 366 creative days I made three polymer clay flower shaped pendants using the material  combination I have done in previous posts.

a - Materials

           1 - Turquoise polymer clay extruded logs(6/366)
           2 - Polymer clay gun experiment, the logs(1/366)
           3 - Polymer clay gradient Ikat(9/366)
           4 - For base I used some old materials, I got by mistake a lighter version of brick color: 1x4(orange)+1x62(lavender), could also be done with: 1x404(translucent orange)+1x42(tangerine)+1x62(lavender)+a pinch of 24(indian red)
           5 - Another polymer clay gun experiment with Fimo Effect translucent clay I did before starting to post - same as for fish
