Extruded polymer clay stripes - 31 of 366 creative days

31/366

For the thirty first day of 366 creative days I have done some testing with extruded polymer clay rainbow stripes from those logs done in the third day.

You can see the stripe combination before extruding and after extruding you can see the heads, tail and two randoms middle. The extruded shape square is about 5 mm, so it wasn't a good idea, probably with more material and a bigger extruder gun would look better.
I like the rainbow variation very much, I will try on white next time, maybe some transparent as well when I will get my hands on some.

Polymer clay surprise earrings - 29 of 366 creative days

29/366

In the twenty ninth day of 366 creative days I finally finished my polymer clay "surprise" earrings I started in the fourteenth day with the polymer clay disk earrings.

PMC copper teal earrings

They look very earthy colored on one side, imitating copper with a texture like those genuine copper vases you find in the old bazaars, like is beaten with a hammer, with a kumihimo thread I have done two days ago with similar colors. The surprise come from the vivid colors underneath, with a sand rock texture, those that you can only see when they are moving following the head direction, showing only a glimpse of  the colors underneath.

Polymer clay "surprise" earrings

Another surprise come from the way I made them so you can wear them on one side or the other, or even as I showed them on the photos here(not the best quality again, but I tried).

The color mix recipes can be found here: http://shapeshadecolor.blogspot.com.cy/2011/07/color-mix-teal-10-of-366-creative-days.html

Mixing colors for Fire element - 23 of 366 creative days

23/366

Today I mixed around 20 combination of yellow red and orange, I will post a picture after baking them.

Colors are nice, but mixing Fimo with Sculpey studio was a bad idea, they become very very soft and sticky. I still like Fimo's colors better, they are more vivid after baking compared to Sculpey Studio and they are similar tints.

   I used:
Fimo:
 - Effect: 104(yellow), 204(red), 404(orange), 112(gold), 202(red)
 - Classic: 15(golden yellow), 2(red), 23(bordeaux)
 - Soft: 16(sun flower)

Sculpey Studio:
 - 6210(poppy), 6440(clementine), 6431(lemon drop), 6434(sunny side up)

The four elements - colors - 22 of 366 creative days

21/366

For the twenty two creative day I decided is time to work on something that will actually have a presentable end, something that will look like a jewelry of some sort.
So I choose the theme: the four elements.
I have choose the design style: waves into a square shaped pendant.
  I have decided the colors:
The four elements colors
I will start working on some color mixing charts tomorrow and help I will reach the desired ones soon.

No more planning

Enough with the planning, too many ideas. It's time to do something!

Diana's macro flowers - a set I organized a posted(actually one of the plans I got to the end) for the mother's day)

tux ro 600x600 jpg
Romanian flag Tux penguin
Christmas tux
Santa Tux penguin

A project that started with Tux with Romanian flag and died with the Christmas Tux.

I also wanted to post every years Cyprus Lemessos Carnival Parade, but I found out that I need to pay to post more pictures so I stopped with the 2008 set. I still have the 2009 prepared, few pictures with 2010, and 2011 as well, maybe...

Started a site as well, but same problem, can't pull myself together to write regularly.
Other plans: working in photoshop, illustrator, using a graphic tablet, learn properly how to draw, make jewelry, write some diet recipes that actually taste good.
Unfortunately is nobody to push me to do all that, like my mother used me to. yes, I blame my parents for almost all my negatives and on genetics  for all my positives.
