Cane design from patterns - 50 of 366 creative days

50/366

I celebrate the fifty day of 366 creative days by doing a floral cane design.
For this I used pieces from 4 pattern templates and one of my palettes. My favorite is the second. I know that making this into a polymer clay cane is very very hard work, but I am ready!

I have placed them on white and black background. As you  know, the white make the colors more vivid, and all the details contrast better so I think I will choose the white background floral canes designs. Also, all the petals and leafs will have gradients and a bit more details: dots, stripes, etc.

Kaleidoscope canes - 49 of 366 creative days

49/366

For the forty ninth day I have tried some Kaleidoscopes from my weird cane. They are done only on computer so far, just to test out how they will look like, I have made 12, but I am sure I could have done way more if I have chosen a different angle.

Kaleidoscope canes
All these are made with slices cut from the previous cane like slices of pizza with different angles. You can also chose to make squares, triangles from the full cane, following different lines and getting 2-3 or more together. Depends on the patience and canes.

More extruded polymer clay stripes - 35/366

35/366

For the thirty fifth day of 366 creative days I have did more polymer clay extruded stripes from those rainbow striped canes.

Polymer clay extruded stripes

I have done new arrangements for the cane slices, the only one in common with the first extruded polymer clay stripes is the second one here, same with the third one there.
I got my hands on white Cernit polymer clay and I will test it. But probably after I am done with these stripes.

Extruded polymer clay stripes - 31 of 366 creative days

31/366

For the thirty first day of 366 creative days I have done some testing with extruded polymer clay rainbow stripes from those logs done in the third day.

You can see the stripe combination before extruding and after extruding you can see the heads, tail and two randoms middle. The extruded shape square is about 5 mm, so it wasn't a good idea, probably with more material and a bigger extruder gun would look better.
I like the rainbow variation very much, I will try on white next time, maybe some transparent as well when I will get my hands on some.

26/366
For the twenty sixth day I finished a pair of polymer clay earrings from some previous tries on extruded canes with some leftover oranges, transparent and matte as well with some canes from the turquoise emerald beads on sixth day.

This is my second pair of finished polymer clay earrings, first I have done some years ago and gave it to a friend.
