For the fifty seventh of 366 creative days I have done something for the stomach again.
Orange jelly hearts diet recipe(diet sweets, oh yah!):
- juice from 6 oranges
- 3-4 spoons of sweetener( it needed to be diet, right)
- 3 bags of gelatin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon orange coloring( I didn't have orange so I used yellow and fuchsia- this is a hard name for strong pink; and some other color if you like to do a mix)
Place the orange juice and sweetener in a pan and add to boil(if you have saccharin, put it after you remove from fire and got a bit colder) 1-2 minutes, then remove from fire and add the gelatin stirring continuously until it melts.
Separate in different bowls if you want different colors and add the coloring. Pour into heart shapes or what shapes you desire and place it on refrigerator for an hour or until it gets hard and cold. Remove, ornate, eat.
Here is the picture that inspired me(by inspire I mean made me crave orange jelly hearts sweets). Thanks to Sanyu for creating that palette for me(it really makes a statement) and the pattern template and novrain62 for being inspired to use the template and that palettes to color it!
Thank you and forgive me I didn't have a green plate :D (grin)!

Last palettes for a while - 56 of 366 creative days
56/366
For the fifty sixth day of 366 creative days I have done a last number of palettes. Why last? Cause I am going into a small holiday.
All these are made for celebrating. My 112 lovers(cause I forgot to do it at 100), imagination, Sheryl(1335sj), Sanyu (two very nice people who cheered me up) and their milestones, and last but not least, Catell-Ruz( I will tell you another time who she is, ha!).

Are they getting better? - 55 of 366 creative days
55/366
For the fifty sixth of 366 creative days I have done, yet again, more palettes. I will add them to the list now. I like them more as I do them, but are they getting better?
They are all done from other people colors, they are called 1LP - one lover color palettes. I have also done a lot of pattern coloring as well, but too much work to post them here and not enough time as usual. You can see them at Diana Colors patterns
A singing sheep color combination recipes can be found here: http://shapeshadecolor.blogspot.com.cy/2011/07/color-mix-teal-10-of-366-creative-days.html

Test pattern templates - 53 of 366 creative days
53/366
For the fifty third day of 366 creative days I have tried to do few pattern templates to help me out in some color mixing, as well as a pattern template to help me out see different types of color quantities in a design, unfortunately that one seamless lite become unresponsive and gave me a flash error when I got it to 75% and lost everything I did.
The two pattern templates(with examples of color mixing) I have done. The third color mixing one is kind of fail...
In the last pattern you can actually see the color mixing if you get closer and further away from the image.

Nice palettes - 52 of 366 creative days
52/366
For the fifty two day I have done some ore palettes from some old pictures of mine, usually with landscapes.
I am sorry for posting so late but I am out of time and not enough time for everything I want to do, I try my best to do something creative every day but not succeed to post them.

Red velvet cupcake and cream cheese frosting - 51 of 366 creative days
51/366
For the fifty one day I have done something I have dreamed of since I have seen Buddy Valastro in "Cake Boss" show. But since I am always on diet I changed some things. Is my first time I did this so I am sorry for the melting feeling of the frosting but I did it all with a bag cut in the corner and was over 35 degrees in the room so it was soft almost all the time, even I refrigerated the cream cheese frosting from time to time.
I got the recipe from the oprah.com site - http://www.oprah.com/food/Buddy-Valastros-Red-Velvet-Cake-with-Cream-Cheese-Frosting
And here is my version for half the recipe I tested, also, if you do the normal recipe, with sugar, I suggest using half of it, Americans eat way too sweet, I tell you:
Diet Red Velvet Cake with Diet Cream Cheese Frosting
All this is enough for 12 normal cupcakes.- I was greedy and placed them in 6, half of it went overboard :D
Preheat oven to 350°F (170 C). Grease the cupcakes or the pan, place parchment paper; grease.
Sift flour, cocoa, and salt(if you use) into a bowl, also the baking powder(if you use).
Beat butter at low speed with a mixer until creamy. Add the sugar; blend on medium speed, cleaning the sides, until fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add the egg, mix well. Scrape bowl; add food coloring and vanilla. Add one third of the flour, mix, half buttermilk, mix, one third of flour again, mix, the last half of buttermilk, and the last third of flour. In small bowl, stir together lemon(vinegar) and baking soda. Stir into batter. Divide batter between cupcakes/pans; spread evenly.
Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes. Cool in 10 minutes. Remove and place on racks. Remove paper, cool completely. Freeze for 30 minutes to avoid crumbs from forming when you cut.
To make frosting: Beat cream cheese and butter with a mixer at medium speed until smooth, about 1 minute. Add sugar, vanilla, and salt(if use). Blend on low speed for 30 seconds; beat on medium-high until fluffy. Be carefull not to do it too much cause it will ruind You should stop when it starts to gather around the paddles by itself leaving big holes behind.
To assemble in case you make a cake: Cut layers in half horizontally with a serrated knife (a butchers knife or any long knife will work as well). Place 1 layer, cut side up, on a serving plate; spread with 1/2 cup frosting. Repeat twice. Add last layer, top side up. Ice cake thinly with 3/4 cup frosting to crumb-coat. Refrigerate 20 minutes; finish frosting.
To assemble like in the picture: cut the paper around the cupcake in a hexagonal shape, then cut 3 layers and place them on a plate. After placing the cream cheese frosting in 3 bowls and used food coloring place them in 3 clean sandwich bags then cut the corner so it will be left a half cm hole(mine was almost 1 cm and you can see how it looks :D). The smaller is the hole the more control you have over the design but more time to do it. refrigerate when you feel the frosting becomes too soft.
Let it rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour or more and then...
Enjoy!

Cane design from patterns - 50 of 366 creative days
50/366
I celebrate the fifty day of 366 creative days by doing a floral cane design.
For this I used pieces from 4 pattern templates and one of my palettes. My favorite is the second. I know that making this into a polymer clay cane is very very hard work, but I am ready!
I have placed them on white and black background. As you know, the white make the colors more vivid, and all the details contrast better so I think I will choose the white background floral canes designs. Also, all the petals and leafs will have gradients and a bit more details: dots, stripes, etc.

Kaleidoscope canes - 49 of 366 creative days
49/366
For the forty ninth day I have tried some Kaleidoscopes from my weird cane. They are done only on computer so far, just to test out how they will look like, I have made 12, but I am sure I could have done way more if I have chosen a different angle.
All these are made with slices cut from the previous cane like slices of pizza with different angles. You can also chose to make squares, triangles from the full cane, following different lines and getting 2-3 or more together. Depends on the patience and canes.

Tux penguin strikes again - 48 of 366 creative days
48/366
For the forty eight day of 366 creative days I have redone, this time in Seamless Lite, the colourlovers.com online pattern editor my favorite penguin, Tux, ex Debian Linux logo.
And also the colored version with one of my favorite palettes.
I have also done several more palettes.
Few of them I really like, but we will see if they are usable after few testing patterns.
